Wow, I’m past the two year point and feeling as healthy as ever with stage 4 lung cancer! Believe it, it’s true. I believe in you as well.  Anyway, this is just a short note one to say that I’ll be off until May 2009; I’m working on a book based on my experiences LIVING with lung cancer. CancerSavvy - Episode 6, Success Story

I’ve taken the summer off but now I’m back. Having stage four lung cancer and feeling as good as I am, plus the fact that I’m also nearing my two year mark since my diagnosis has me feeling supremely grateful. Thank you for the support as well. I will be making some small changes to our site. The first is that my husband will be posting some articles documenting his reflections and stories, really his perspective and additional materials. The second is that I think it’s a good idea to start trading links with others using the internet to share stories and information. To that end, please see Meg’s link on this site. My nine top tips for dealing with chemo - I’ve expanded on suggestions made from my previous podcasts but organized them into tips that will help you better structure the day and keep yourself positive. I included a ton of information plus some anecdotes of my experiences. Included are my thoughts on planning, getting a good night’s sleep, and making sure your family understands the things you need and how they can help.  At the end of the podcast I include great news coming from recent research on vitamin D3 and human trials starting this year that tap into human beings innate ability to resist cancer.
